LEISURE ACTIVITIES:
In Zamárdi, both on the water and on the shore, people of all ages can find sports and leisure opportunities throughout the year, including windsurfing, paddleboarding, pedal boating, fishing, swimming, ice skating, adventure park activities, paintball, cycling, tennis, go-karting, beach volleyball, and more.
Marked hiking and cycling trails on Zamárdi’s wooded hills help visitors navigate through nature. From the Kőhegy Lookout Tower, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Tihany Peninsula, and on clear days, you can see the shimmering water from Balatonkenese to Badacsony and the Somogy Hills to the south.
The vineyards on the surrounding hills invite visitors to taste fine wines.

Adventure Park
The park offers adventure courses, zip lines, a fun train, a 12-meter-high jump tower, water dodgems, water balls, and more. Younger visitors can enjoy a maze and treasure hunting.


Open-Air Cinema
Enjoy the latest movies from mid-June to the end of August. The cinema area offers restrooms and a snack bar.
On the wall of the building is the Wall of Filmmakers, featuring the handprints of actors connected to Zamárdi.
It is also pet-friendly.
A brief historical overview:
The first open-air cinema in Zamárdi was built in 1933 and operated until the late 1950s.

There are two standard sand courts suitable for hosting competitions. Additionally, at the Jegenye Square public beach, there is another court available for athletes.

Dobrián Géza Sports Center
The Sports Centre area is suitable for hosting nearly full athletic competitions, with dedicated areas for high jump, triple jump, long jump, shot put, javelin throw, and a throwing circle for hammer throw.
The track is equipped with three changing rooms, a club room, massage room, storage, showers, and separate men’s and women’s restrooms.

Hiking trail
Marked trails allow you to explore the region. Popular routes include:
Yellow Trail (S-):
8 km circular route from Zamárdi Railway Station to the Kőhegy Lookout Tower and back.

The green cross trail (Z+) branches off from the Iron Cross, leading to the Kilences hill in Szántód.Turning left onto the Római Road beneath Kőhegy, the S- trail continues on the hiking routes of Szántód, while turning right leads back to the train station.
Green Trail (Z-):
Zamárdi Train Station – Szántódpuszta
4-11 km to Szántódpuszta via the shoreline or through the hills.
A longer route (11 km, 3 hours) runs along Lake Balaton on the lakeside promenade to the Szántód ferry terminal, from where the S- trail leads to Szántódpuszta.
Yellow Cross (S+)
20 km to Töreki Lakes, a birdwatching paradise.
Route: 20 km
Description: From the train station, it’s best to cross at the traffic light intersection and walk up the steep Honvéd Street. Along the way, you can visit the Health Garden, then head towards the Roman Catholic parish church located on Fő Street. You can walk along the street all the way to Endrédi Road. After that, follow the yellow S+ hiking trail. In Tóközpuszta, there is a black walnut tree over 150 years old. The Töreki Lakes form a protected natural area—a true bird paradise! You can spot sand martins, marsh harriers, bee-eaters, egrets, herons, and more…

Route: Iron Cross – Tótoki Marsh – Kilences Hill
From Kilences Hill, the yellow cross trail (S+) leads to the Szántód train station.

Highlights: Szántód is considered the northern gateway to Lake Balaton, as it hosts the ferry port that operates year-round (weather permitting) connecting to Tihany. In the town center, you'll find the statue of Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travelers and passengers.
Szántódpuszta is a 19th-century manor estate along the hiking trail leading from Zamárdi.
After passing the mysterious Szamárkő ("Donkey Stone"), you can take a break at the rest stop near the Iron Cross. A beautiful wooden lookout point has been built on Kilences Hill, offering scenic views.

In Balatonendréd, there is a 10-stop fairy tale-themed educational trail. All you need is a smartphone and mobile internet. At each stop, scan the QR code to receive a link to an audio fairy tale. Open it, listen, and enjoy the story!

- Törökkoppány
In the Koppány Creek valley, 10 villages jointly established the Koppány Valley Nature Park in 2014. Törökkoppány is one of its featured locations.

Route: Törökkoppány – Chapel Hill – Turkish Well – Cseszmei Creek – Törökkoppány
Distance: 10 km
Highlights: On Chapel Hill, there's a small chapel built for the millennium celebration.
In the Cseszmei Forest lies the Turkish Well, a 14-meter long and 1.25-meter wide well dating back to the Ottoman era. In the past, water from this well was channeled via clay pipes to the main buildings of the village.

A track with 10 go-karts (270 cm³ Honda engines), 550 meters long with exciting curves and slopes. Lap times are measured, with the best lap highlighted.
There are also go-karts for children, available from 7-8 years old and a minimum height of 130 cm.

Zamárdi Tourinform Office
Our office has Cross Citerra adult, men's and women's bicycles at our guests' disposal, a total of 9, and we also have 3 women's bicycles with baskets.
We have one size 20 bike available (Polar Modesty-20) and one size 24 bike as well. (Csepel Woodlands Zero 24) children’s bike.
We can provide two child seats for the little children.

Pumpapálya
A Kecskeméti utca és a Margó Ede sétány mellett található a kerékpáros pálya.
Ez egy körpálya hullámokkal, kanyarokkal, ugratókkal, melyet kerékpárral, rollerrel, gördeszkával, görkorcsolyával is lehet használni. Gyerekpályát a kezdők és a gyerekek tudják használni; a pump track haladó sportolók számára készült, míg a jump-linet a tapasztalt, profi sportolók tudják használni.
A pályát mindenki saját felelősségre használhatja.
Sisak használata kötelező!
14 év alatti személyek csak szülői felügyelet mellett használják a pályát.
A pályán max. 12 fő tartózkodhat.
Nedves, havas, jeges pályaburkolaton a pálya használata tilos!
